U12 2nd DIVISION Letterkenny Utd 3 - 2 Gweedore Celtic
The Letterkenny won in a nail biting game against Gweedore Celtic in the final game of the league campaign.
The Letterkenny side went two goals down early on and had an uphill battle.
It was Jack Robb who pulled one goal back from a won penalty, through a handball from a cross, followed by Ruairi Gardener with a stylish finish on the right side to make it 2 - 2 heading into the break.
The Letterkenny side dominated the second half, but just couldn't find the back of net, with 12 attempts on goal either put wide or saved by the keeper.
But persistence paid off with Anthony McGarrigle dipping the ball just under the bar from way outside the box to clinch the winner and secure the 3 points.
An outstanding performance from Jack Robb that secured him the Man of the Match award.
