From the first to the last whistle, this was a very competitive match with both teams well matched.
Both teams created a number of chances, but both goals keepers were equal to the challenge.
Rovers keeper was very unlucky and conceded after a fantastic save, but Kadi Doherty was quickest to react. The second half was similar to the first both teams creating chances, but the keepers were well able for the challenge.
Savanna Keys equalised on the 48 minute. Letterkenny continued to push for a winner and with just minutes to go Savanna Keys scorer again.
Another solid team performance from Letterkenny and a special mention for Drumbars defence who wee excellent throughout. Well done, both teams.
U12 (2013) GIRLS
Letterkenny Rovers 0 - 3 Drumbar United
Three goals from Aoife Gallagher were the difference between these two teams.
Aoife scored on the 9th, 12th, and 22nd minute of the first half. Letterkenny came out the second half a different team.
A huge increase in work rate and effort ensured a second half clean sheet.
Both teams had chances in the second half but were unable to score.
Caitlin Crampsie and Aoibhe Gibson best for Rovers and Aoife Gallagher for Drumbar.
