It wasn't to be Letterkenny Uniteds night on Wednesday, playing at home to Glen Rovers.
The away team started strong from the kick off, putting pressure on the United side that they struggled to neutralize.
Glen Rovers converted a strike from outside the box, that bounced over the awaiting keeper, but with 12 shots on target in the first half Peter Woodward done an outstanding job ensuring the team entered the second half only 1 behind.
The second half was more even, with Uniteds fitness standing to them as they dominated posession and made countless chances in the second half, Tiernan Connolly brought the teams even from a fantastic assist from Anthony McGarrigle.
