It was a game where Rovers made hard work of it for themselves and will be disappointed by the performance particularly in the first half.
Rovers lost center back Dean McCarry to injury mid way through the first half and we wish him a speedy recovery.
The half ended with Rovers a goal down from a corner that was not cleared gifting Lagan Harps a 1 nil lead going into the break.
Rovers performance was better in the second half and the first goal came on 52 minutes from a Joel Gorman free headed home by Lee McMonagle.
On 77 minutes a combination from Rory Gallagher and the super sub and debutant literally just on the pitch Henry Welles who scored a super strike from 22 yards.
Lee McMonagle netted his second from just outside the 18 yard box from a nice ball by Zac Gorman. In injury time Joel Gorman fired from 30 yards bringing the game to an end.
Rovers ran out victors in the second half as Lagan struggled to keep up the pace with the game ending Lagan Harps 1 Letterkenny Rovers 4.
