Letterkenny Rovers 8 - 0 Drumkeen United

The first half was dominated by Rovers with most of the game being played in the Drumkeen half.

Rovers had a number of early chances in the first 5 mins.

The best was from a corner that was glanced wide by Darragh Morrission.

11 min Jordan Nugent stepped inside on the left of the 18yd and drove a strike towards the right of goal to be denied by great save from Drumkeen keeper Evan Higgins.

The breakthrough came on the 13th min from a long throw into the box for Mohammed Touchami to tap in.

The second goal came on 18th min when Jordan Nugent was driven across the left of the 18yd box and was unable to get the shot off, the ball eventually made its way across to the right and Mohammed was on hand to get a shot on the turn finding its way into the bottom right of the goal.

Danny Hall came close on 31mins when he weaved through a number of players getting a fine strike only to be denied by the cross bar

The third goal came from a corner on the 34th min. Delivered by Gareth Temple finding Mohammed free at the back of the 6 yd where he headed it home for his hat-trick.

On 38 min following patient build up play that eventually ended with a cross from the left wing by Gareth Temple delivered into the box and well headed into goal by Darragh Morrison.

Just on half time Rovers got their 5th from a free just outside the Drumkeen 6yd box for handling a back pass. Darragh set the ball up for Jordan Nugent to drive through the defense into the goal.
