U14 PREMIER DIVISION
Bonagee United 6 - 2 Letterkenny Rovers
Bonagee ran out winners in a exciting encounter which was a lot closer a contest than the scoreline suggests
Blake Merideth put Rovers ahead from a free kick early on. Rovers looked strong but Bonagee also looked dangerous on the break. Some last ditch defending from Bonagee kept it at one nil however Bonagee got level late in the half when a cross from the right somehow looped into the net.
Rovers nearly went ahead again when Adam Dwyers header was well saved by the Bonagee keeper
Bonagee scored twice within minutes of the restart through Shay Thompson and Fionn Nolan. Jack O'Donnell got one back for Rovers shortly afterwards and piled on the pressure to get an equaliser however it was Bonagee who finished the game as a contest with a fine solo effort from Fionn Nolan
2 late goals for Bonagee capped off the win.
