Bonagee Utd 1 - 3 Letterkenny Rovers
Our U12 girls got their league campaign underway away to Bonagee last night. Despite Bonagee being in control for long periods of time Rovers broke through and were awarded a corner, with Aisling McGinly converting straight in from the corner. Savanna Keys extended the lead shortly after the restart. With 7mins remaining Bonagee scored when Tara McDaid latched onto a Freekick. As Bonagee pushed forward for the equaliser, Faye Casburn blocked the ball at the edge of the box and ran the full pitch to score. Great battling by the whole Rovers team
