Coming from Abroad? International Clearance
Who needs an International Transfer Certificate [ITC] ?
All players (adults/minors) coming from abroad will be need to be processed for International Clearance by FIFA.
So in order to register with the Letterkenny Rovers the process can require additional documentation to support the completion of the process.
Below you will see the links to the relevant FIFA Minor Exemptions. You will need to complete the one most relevant to the player.
You will need to inform your coach when you have this completed, since they will not proceed with your registration until they know this is completed.
FIFA Minor Exemption below applicable to your player registration application.
- 19.2 (A) The parent(s) of the player moved for reasons not linked to football.
- 19 (C) Player lives close to the border (no relocation to Ireland) i.e. Lives in NI within 50km radius of the border
- 19 (A) Relocation for humanitarian reasons with his/her parent(s)
- 19 (D) Relocation for humanitarian reasons without his/her parent(s)
- 19 (E) The player is an exchange student undertaking an academic programme abroad i.e. Studying in Ireland
- ARTICLE 19.3-4 (MIN. 5-YEAR RESIDENCY) Player is registering for the first time and has lived continuously for the last five years in Ireland
