Letterkenny Rovers FC paid a fitting tribute to their late President, Liam Blake, with a special memorial match on October 26th, 2024. The event, held at Leckview Park, saw the Blake family take on a team of club coaches and players in a friendly but competitive encounter.

The match was played on the recently upgraded grass pitch, which was in pristine condition. The occasion was made even more special by the official switching on of the new floodlights, a project funded by the Department of Rural and Community Development under the Community Recognition Fund Our Rural Future 2021-2025.
