As many of you are aware this year, our town, Clubs, Letterkenny Rovers FC, Bonagee United FC, and the wider footballing community were left in a state of shock and sadness at the loss of our dear friends and club colleagues, Kieran McGrath and Liam Haughey on 1st March 2023.
Both Kieran and Liam have left a huge legacy at our clubs and we feel this is an opportune moment to bring both of our clubs together to host a unique event in aid of Darkness into Light, Pieta House, where we hope to raise as much money as possible to support the charity and raise awareness of the importance of positive mental health services that are needed to support those who are in crisis. The world is facing challenges like never before, but during these difficult times, we need to come together and make a difference. The more support we have, the greater the impact we can make!
If you have ever wanted to see 40 highly passionate, competitive and "athletic" coaches WALK around a football pitch, while every fiber of their being just wants to run towards that goal, then this is your chance! Truly a sight to be seen and not to be missed!
