17th March 2023, ☘️ St. Patricks Day ☘️
It was not our usual day out but we all had a ball.
This year was our first year to enter the parade and we were delighted with the turnout on the day.
In Dublin the Irish Womens National Team were leading the parade and what more fitting for Rovers that to be led my our girls teams which we newly formed this year.
Players of all ages and teams took part and the chants of "Rovers.. Rovers.. Rovers" and "Let's go Rovers, Let go!" could be heard from the start to the end as we marched Main Street.
Thanks to all the coaches and parents that helped on the day and to those that worked hard in preparing for the event weeks in advance.
A special thank you to Lisa Boyle who was the driving force behind it all.
To top it all of we received the Best Sporting Entry award 🏆 which we are really delighted with.
