Letterkenny Rovers FC proudly received the prestigious FAI Club Mark Two Star Award, a testament to the club's excellence in governance, child welfare, strategic planning, sustainability, advanced coaching, and community engagement across various football formats. The award was officially presented at the AVIVA Stadium on October 24th, with Donagh McMorrow, the Clubmark Officer, accepting the honour on behalf of the club. On this special evening, 13 clubs from across Ireland were recognized, representing the top 2% of clubs nationwide operating at this exceptional level. 

Letterkenny Rovers Football Club was celebrated on 9 October 2025 with a special civic reception held at the Letterkenny Public Services Centre, hosted by the Mayor of Letterkenny-Milford Municipal District, Cllr. Ciaran Brogan. The event recognized not just the club’s incredible achievements during the memorable 2024/25 season but also the club’s enduring and wide-reaching contribution to the Letterkenny community over decades.

The club is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of our Club President Victor Fisher.While Victor fulfilled many roles across different organisations, he was a man who gave great service to our club. He made a hugely significant contribution over a number of years through his fundraising efforts, selling club lotto tickets and establishing our club bingo in the Station House Hotel.His hard work and dedication played a pivotal role in the development of our facilities at Leckview Park.Victor always took great pride in the club’s achievements and was honoured to hold the position of Club President since 2023. He leaves us with many fond memories and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.As a mark of respect, all club fixtures have been postponed this weekend.We send our deepest condolences to his wife Helen and all the Fisher family at this sad time.

On August 25th 2025 at Leckview Park, our community came together to honour the memory of Fionn McLaughlin with a special memorial match between Letterkenny Rovers Select and Coláiste Ailigh.

A special event took place at Leckview Park on Sunday 3rd August to honour the memory of the late Patsy Collins, affectionately known within the club as "Big P."
